Nadaraya-Watson Envelope (NWE) Reversal Strategy
STRATEGY DESCRIPTION:
Uses Gaussian-weighted NWE upper and lower bands to identify potential reversal zones. Signals are evaluated on the latest available candle using past/current candles only.
BUY CONDITIONS:
1. Previous candle is bearish.
2. Previous candle low touches or crosses below the lower NWE band.
3. Current candle is bullish.
4. Current candle closes above the lower NWE band.
5. Current close is above EMA 5.
SELL CONDITIONS:
1. Previous candle is bullish.
2. Previous candle high touches or crosses above the upper NWE band.
3. Current candle is bearish.
4. Current candle closes below the upper NWE band.
No EMA 5 confirmation is required for SELL.
RISK PARAMETERS:
Target: 1% from entry price. Stop-loss: 0.5% from entry price.
DEFAULT PARAMETERS:
NWE bandwidth = 8; envelope multiplier = 3; EMA = 5.
NOTE:
The strategy emits entry signals and includes target/stop-loss price metadata. Trade exit execution is handled by the paper-trading execution module, not by this screener method.
